NOW COMES the defendant, Gale A., by pro se, and moves the Court prohibit the Assistant State's Attorney from displaying to the jury any evidence or exhibits he will later seek to admit into evidence and in making inflammatory and/or prejudicial remarks at any time during the trial, in support of which she states:

1. That the defendant presently is charged with one count of harassment by telephone, 720 ILCS 135/1-1 and one count of harassment by electronic media, 720 ILCS 135/1-2.
2. The State may seek to introduce various items of evidence ad/or exhibits during the course of the trial.
3. Until such time as the Court decides whether the evidence or exhibits are admissible into evidence, it is improper to display the evidence/exhibits to the jury.
4. It is improper for a prosecutor to make inflammatory and/or prejudicial remarks, which the prosecutor made several times during preliminary hearings.

WHEREFORE, the defendant respectfully requests that this Court prohibit the State's use of potential exhibits during Opening Statements and prohibit the State from making inflammatory and/or prejudicial remarks at any time in the presence of the jury.
