MOTION FOR PERFORMANCE
STANDARDS OF PROSECUTING ATTORNEYS FOR THE STATE

NOW COMES the defendant, by pro se, and according to her Constitutional rights and by Freedom of Information Acts asks the court to compel the Cook County States Attorney of Chicago Illinois that provided the Court with its prosecuting attorneys in this case to provide the defendant with its performance standards for prosecuting attorneys and states:

    1. That the defendant presently is charged with one offense of harassment by telephone, 720 ILCS 135/1-1 and one offense of harassment by electronic media, 720 ILCS 135/1-2.
    2. That the defendant is representing herself pro se.
    3. That the defendant has reason to believe that the prosecutors do not have a case against her that can stand up to trial but still, they are not dismissing this case in full nor dropping charges.
    4. That she overhead at times in court on various recesses bailiffs discussing conviction rates and that conviction rates seem to be the prime concern of the state rather than the process administering impartial justice to protect the innocently accused.
    5. That she demands to know how assistant prosecuting attorneys' performances are judged and that if they are indeed dependent upon conviction rates.
    6. That she requires this information as a part of her defense and cannot proceed to trial without it.

WHEREFORE, the defendant moves this court to grant the motion for the Performance Standards of the Cook County States Attorney of Chicago Illinois by date certain.
