AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF MOTION FOR DEFENDANT TO BE GRANTED CONTINUANCES AS NECESSARY TO PROCURE AFFIDAVITS AND OTHER PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE Gale A, upon her word as a Judaic-Christian and under penalties of perjury, states that:
She is representing herself pro se in the charge as specified in paragraph 1, does want a speedy trial but not at the expense of justice in her case. She is not a law student, cannot afford a lawyer and does not want a state-appointed lawyer to represent her. If the court does allow her to have a state-appointed lawyer per Sup. Ct. Rule 401, Note 14, the defendant withdraws this motion. She does not consider herself incompetent before the law, but that she cannot claim to be anywhere near an equal to the prosecutor in terms of knowing procedural or substantive law. Signed under penalties of perjury* before me, a notary public, of Cook County, Illinois, by _______________, this ____________ day of ____________, 19____. ______________________
